2025 Season Update (20 March 2025) - Allan Forsyth, Secretary

2021 Season Update (9th June 2021) - David Mitchell, secretary

I have now had a discussions with all clubs and the majority want a start date of Thursday June 24th.  Only 5 teams have confirmed they are ready to start, Kirkbymoorside, Sessay, Swinton, Thirsk A and Thirsk B. 

We will play a full fixture list of home and away games on Thursday nights, 8 games in total with 2 byes for each team, finishing the season on Thursday August 26th.  We will play for the league Trophy but will not compete for the Waltham Cup this season.

2020 Season

In light of the Government restrictions because of the coronavirus, all League and Cup fixtures for 2020 were cancelled. 

For similar reasons there was no face to face AGM in October 2020, communication between the clubs and league officials was by email.  Unfortunately Sowerby Flatts withdrew from the league without playing a game and the league was reduced to 8 teams for 2021.  As proposed at the 2019 AGM, all league games in 2021 will be played on a Thursday, with Tuesday being used for the Waltham Cup and any rescheduled league games.  The start time remains at 6.45pm unless agreed by both captains.
